God's Big Backyard

Welcome!
God's Big Backyard is a ministry of Eastview that is dedicated to caring for and teaching children from birth through grade 5.
In God's Big Backyard we hold to the truth that "Home is the first school and Parents are the first teachers." Our mission is to come alongside you, as a parent, as you impress the Word of God upon the hearts of your children. (Deuteronomy 6:4-9) To that end, we offer several learning opportunities to our youngest worshipers.

Bible School
|

On Sunday mornings, at 8:45, children 2 years to 5th grade experience Bible stories in age appropriate, interactive ways that appeal to all learning styles. With the FaithWeaver lessons, students of all ages study the same Bible story at the same time but apply it to their lives in different ways.
Every three years the students will recieve a complete overview of the Bible, learn how it fits together and gain a life chaning-faith that gets put into action.

E-KLUB Friends
|
|
Wednesday evenings at 6:30 (throughout the school year), children ages 3 to 5th grade get one more chance at E-KLUB Friends to have a blast investigating God's Word and learning to apply it to their everyday lives. The FWFriends curriculum looks at the same Bible stories as FaithWeaver, but with a focus on relationships and service.
